On being standards compliant…

It’s hard. Especially coming from doing table layouts. My first foray into Standards compliancy was/is with the KAKE Shop. For business reason beyond my control, I couldn’t take it further. But my ultimate goal for my portfolio site is 100% standard compliant.

Good Resources:

Visit the links section, as I will try to maintain a database of good sites for CSS, but who can leave out, The Web Standards Group.

The Car..pt3 | Other stuff

Finally was allowed to get my car in the shop on Friday. Then ran up to KC for the night, just to run back to get to work, actually made good time. Found out Wichita is getting a World Market, so no more runs to KC to get stuff.

Epson Stylus Photo R200

Bought a Epson Stylus Photo R200 today. Not bad after you update the drivers. Have yet to test out CD/DVD printing

Job Hunt…pt 2

Told my boss that I was loking around at other jobs today. He said he wishes he could hire me, but it’s not up to him.

Oh well, hopefully I can get on at Big Dog.

Oaky..so Quark isn’t that bad.

To kind of add to the whole Job factor, I’ve started using Quark again. I stopped last year and switched to InDesign, well, I’m back. I don’t exactly know why I stopped using it, but I am realizing that once you learn it, there’s not much you can forget.
